I appreciate your words at the end. I've been a car guy my whole life, my favorite toys as a kid were matchbox cars, which I still have 40 years later. I've owned over 30 cars/trucks of all types, including many sports cars and muscle cars. Too many to list here. My 2024 Tesla Y Performance is the best vehicle I've ever had overall. I didn't buy it to make a political statement. I bought it to do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and have plenty of room for cargo. When they redesign the Y to match the new features of the 3P, I'll upgrade. My desire to buy another ICE car is nonexistent at this point, since I can't afford an exotic.

Any true automotive enthusiast appreciates anything with wheels. I have had everything from a 70 Judge, Subaru Legacy GT modified, Camaro SS 1LE 6 speed, Audi S3 and many others and now drive a 2023 M3P with a 2024 due in 2 weeks. I still love ICE, but I am thoroughly enjoying my EV's currently. #STOPTHEEVHAIT

Use vise grips adjusted to just squeeze those clips on the vacuum lines enough to get them off. That way it’s locked and you don’t have to hold pressure.

So help me, we compare a rear wheel drive ICE with like 100 to 200 hp less to an AWD EV and wonder that the EV wins the race? Compare the Tesla against a peer with similar numbers! If it really has 600hp then compare it against an ICE with AWD and 600hp. Wait the results and then judge if ICE is dead.

I enjoy my ND2 MX5 and my new 24 M3P. As a daily a car like the M3P is great. Relatively good priced(much more expensive here), great performance, rather big interior, nice ride now with the active dampers and it's a quiet ride. Also having an EV no need to think of fluids etc getting warm before either having to stop or if you want to hoon it. However I have a eurospec M3P and it's waaay slower unfortunately due to the LG battery. Have some dragy runs on my YT channel Thanks for the video

I have a Tesla Plaid and a Corvette Z06 and its possible to love both an EV and a ICE car. They bring different values to the table. The Plaid for everyday use and roadtrips and the Z06 for trackdays and weekend fun drives. Out of 20000miles driven pr year the 17000 are in the Plaid and about 3000 in the Z06

I’ve heard many times that the new model 3 performance is seriously underrated in the numbers. Someone dynoed one at 620hp or so. That’s instant hp and torque, as well. That’s crazy. I have a model y performance and for a ‘grocery getter’ family car, even that thing doesn’t lose to many vehicles from the light. To think this new M3P would leave my MYP behind is just wild

After roadtripping a Tesla, I'd never go back to ICE. When travelling 1000+ miles, give me a Tesla or put me on an aircraft. ICE sucks for long distance. Toyota, GM and Ford EVs are still far worse though.

I just bought a M3P a couple weeks ago. My other car is a Porsche Boxster. The climate and environment had NOTHING to do with my purchase. It was all about performance and the experience for the buck. Thank you for making the exact same point. I’m a car nut, I have been my whole life, and I still am. The car is a blast to drive, and the sensations are completely different than a gas car. Each has their place, and I enjoy driving both. Oh, and in my day job, I burn jet fuel.

Both are great cars. I wish folks would stop hating on EVs. Mostly i've found it's because they feel threatened or sad the car they spent years working on gets walked by a car that doesn't make big rumbles. There is room for both in the car world and we should learn appreciate what they all bring to the table! You said it best at the end of the vid. Drive your cars, people, and appreciate what others find joy in. As someone who has owned several 5.0Ls and EVs, i can tell you they both bring me joy.

To the saving the world mocking gasholes i say this. Every car requires mining, metalurgy consumes cobalt&lithium. Catalytic converter consume rare earths, ice cars do not function without a battery and multiple electric motors. Until late 2019 the fossil fuel industry consumed the most cobalt. Cobalt has been extracted in modern times since the 1730s. Cobalt isn't mined by children in Africa as artisinal mining is under 2% of ALL cobalt consumed annually. Ev sales are now over 45% lfp chemistries now and almost half of ALL teslas sold since late 2021 have used catl or byd lfp cells=no cobalt! Fuel requires energy water and chemicals to extract, and more energy to transport and more enegy to refine and more energy to transport again to pump into tanks underground which leach into the local water supply and those are ALL simple FACTS anyone can verify. Ice cars waste 65-85% of the energy content in 1 gallon of fuel which is accepted as 33.7kwhs for road gas or 37.9kwhs for road diesel. Just to noise and heat. Another FACT one of the most common ways for males to commit suicide today is parking their car in an enclosed space rolling the windows down and turning it on. Liquid fuel is just that its liquid and gets consumed to never be seen again. Ice cars no matter the fuel source will always be noiser, hotter running and more polluting. Every gallon of gas or diesel weighs just over 7# so for every gallon you consume your burning that weight in fuel. An average sedan driver will burn up over 3,000-4,000# a year worth of gas. And average us truck or SUV owner will burn 800-1,000 gallons a year in fuel which is burning up more weight in fuel annually than a model X or ct weighs. You can never stop doing that with an ice vs an ev! In 2023 catl vw tesla and redwoods materials recycled enough cells to supply over 1,200,000 ev pack's. That will only continue to increase!

I switched from Porsche to Tesla because of running/maintenance costs I used to watch your videos when i had my CTS and i appreciated the quality of the videos, it's great seeing you get further ahead with great quality vids and honestly,a perfect opinion on the whole ICE vs EVs debate.
